Mackin’s Rippin Lips Fishing Trips was founded in the Spring of 2023 by Owner Eddie Mackin.

Eddie grew up just minutes from Lake Hopatcong and would spend many weekends fishing the lake with his father and brother. His family later moved to the lake and as a teen, Eddie could often be found hanging out at Dows Boat Rental helping wherever he could. During this time Eddie became a very active member of the Knee Deep Club and won many awards through the club. Eddie went on to become a trustee and president.

Becoming a father and fishing with his own son on the lake changed Eddie's view on fishing.  Eddies desire and knowledge for fishing in conjunction with the desire to share his passion with his son and others is what led to the founding of Mackin’s Rippin Lips Fishing Trips.
